Job description

This is a remote position.

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM Eastern Time (Virginia, U.S.)
Total Weekly Hours: 20 hours

As the Property Management Assistant, you’ll be the main contact for tenants and potential renters, helping to ensure smooth operations and excellent customer service for both residential and storage properties.



Key Responsibilities
  • Answer incoming phone calls professionally and promptly during scheduled hours

  • Accurately enter customer payments into the system

  • Facilitate tenant move-in and move-out procedures

  • Address tenant inquiries and concerns regarding property issues or appointments

  • Coordinate maintenance or property-related appointments

  • Assist with rental inquiries and lease storage units and homes

  • Maintain accurate records and keep tenant files up to date

  • Communicate with property managers and staff to help resolve tenant issues


Requirements
  • Prior experience in property management, customer service, or administrative roles is a plus

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

  • Ability to learn and work with property management software, if required

  • Highly detail-oriented and organized

  • Reliable and punctual, with the ability to maintain a consistent schedule

  • Self-motivated and capable of working independently while following directions

  • Proactive, with strong problem-solving abilities and a mindset geared toward anticipating needs

  • Committed to maintaining confidentiality and handling sensitive information appropriately

  • Dedicated to providing full attention and focus during scheduled working hours
