Reports To: Senior Manager, Accounting

Role Purpose:

Reporting to the Senior Accounting Manager, the Sr. Specialist Accounting is handling a wide range of accounting tasks for the Concentrix Czech republic and possibly for other entities as well. Big part of the day-to-day work relate to delivery of a quality and timely close of each accounting period in accordance with the US GAAP and local statutory requirements. Person is expected to deliver good level of accuracy and ability to meet tight reporting deadlines of Group and local accounting deliverables.

You will be working with both local accounting colleagues as well as collaborate with colleagues from variety of teams located in different parts of the world. In your daily work you might need to also work with other verticals like FP&A, Tax, People Solutions, Accounts payable and Accounts receivable teams. You are expected to support preparation of financial statements and the processes of meeting relevant tax, audit and other statutory requirements. 

It should be noted that tight reporting deadlines will require a degree of flexibility regarding working hours, particularly around month end, quarter end and year-end. 
 

Key Accountabilities and Duties

  • Review and/or prepare general ledger entries
  • Prepare analysis and reports on specific accounting topics
  • Work with month-end closing process tasks
  • Work with balance sheet analysis, reconciliations and reporting tasks
  • Work with local accounting, tax and financial reporting tasks
  • Support adoption of Group accounting policies, internal controls and best practices
  • Provide ad-hoc accounting expertise support to the various stakeholders 

Minimum Required Qualifications/Skills

Skills & Experience

  • At least 3 years of relevant accounting experience, of which at least part within an international company
  • Demonstrated ability to multi-task, prioritize, and meet timelines on deliverables.
  • Good general knowledge of local accounting standards. Knowledge on US GAAP is considered as advantage.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Economics, Finance or Accounting 
  • Relevant accounting certificates are considered an advantage
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office 
  • User knowledge from one or many ERP systems. Experience from Workday-ERP is considered as an advantage.
