Job description

The Director of Market Access Patient Experience and Reimbursement Analytics is an individual contributor role focused on analyzing and optimizing patient experience and reimbursement processes, particularly in specialty pharmacy and hub services analytics. This role requires a strong background in healthcare analytics, aiming to enhance patient access to therapies and improve overall patient experience through data-driven insights and collaboration with cross-functional teams

Job Description

  • Lead the strategic vision for analytics across specialty pharmacy and hub services, ensuring alignment with overarching market access goals.

  • Harness data and analytics to deeply understand the patient journey, identifying opportunities to enhance access to therapies and improve overall experience.

  • Design and implement analytics frameworks to assess and enhance patient experience, including journey mapping, satisfaction metrics, and engagement strategies.

  • Identify and address patient journey pain points through data-driven insights in partnership with key stakeholders.

  • Develop analytic plans and define KPIs to monitor performance across patient access, hub operations, field reimbursement, and copay programs.

  • Analyze reimbursement data to optimize therapy access, with a focus on specialty pharmacy and hub service performance.

  • Create and manage dashboards and reporting tools to track reimbursement trends, surface barriers, and drive actionable solutions.

  • Align reimbursement analytics with payer strategies and market dynamics in collaboration with Market Access and Strategy teams.

  • Oversee analytics for specialty pharmacy operations, including adherence, patient support programs, and distribution efficiency.

  • Drive hub service optimization initiatives, such as streamlining patient enrollment and benefits verification processes

  • Collaborate with external vendors to improve data integration and enhance reporting capabilities.

  • Partner with internal and field-based Patient Experience & Reimbursement teams to address business questions through exploratory data analysis.

  • Support specialty pharmacy contracting and performance tracking through targeted data and reporting efforts.

  • Coordinate with internal teams and data aggregators to ensure delivery of timely, actionable data to support patients and providers.

  • Safeguard the accuracy and integrity of patient experience and reimbursement data.

  • Lead the development of automated reporting solutions to streamline data access and support strategic decision-making.

  • Communicate key insights and recommendations to senior leadership and cross-functional stakeholders

Qualifications/ Required

Knowledge/ Experience and Skills:

  • 7+ years of experience in healthcare analytics, with a focus on patient services & reimbursement and/or specialty pharmacy.

  • Strong expertise in statistical modeling, attribution modeling, and media effectiveness measurement.

  • Proficiency in analytics tools such as Python, R, SAS, SQL, or data visualization platforms (Tableau, Power BI).

  • Experience with US healthcare reimbursement processes, including specialty pharmacy and hub services.

  • Ability to translate complex data insights into clear business recommendations

  • Strong stakeholder management and presentation skills

Preferred:

  • Experience in the pharmaceutical, biotech, or healthcare industry.

  • Knowledge of advanced AI/ML techniques for marketing analytics.

  • Familiarity with patient support programs and financial assistance processes.

  • Knowledge of payer strategies and healthcare policy.

Educational Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field (e.g., Economics, Statistics, Data Science, Business, Marketing Analytics).

Minimum $183,335.00 - Maximum $274,160.00, plus incentive opportunity: The range shown represents a typical pay range or starting salary for candidates hired to perform the work. Other elements may be used to determine actual salary such as the candidate’s job experience, specific skills, and comparison to internal incumbents currently in role.
