Job description

This is a remote position.

As the Director, IT you will manage all aspects of Innosphere’s infrastructure, including security, design, architecture, availability, reliability, performance, monitoring, security of the infrastructure hardware (including desktop and server), network, telephony, backup, storage, and cloud systems in a fully remote work environment. This includes working with vendors, managed service providers, contractors, and clients to the deliver optimal use of the infrastructure.  


Responsibilities: 

  • Maintaining the day-to-day management and support of the IT infrastructure.  
  • Providing strategic leadership and direction to align IT initiatives with the organization’s business goals and objectives. 
  • Developing and implementing IT strategies, policies, and procedures to support business operations, enhance efficiency, and mitigate risks. 
  • Overseeing the design, implementation, and maintenance of the company's technology infrastructure, including networks, servers, storage, and cloud services. 
  • Leading the development and execution of cybersecurity strategies and initiatives to protect the company's data, systems, and networks from cyber threats and vulnerabilities. 
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including accounting, human resources, sales, and marketing to identify technology needs, prioritize projects, and deliver IT solutions that meet business requirements. 
  • Ensuring the effective delivery of IT support services to end users, including help desk support, troubleshooting, and resolution of technical issues. 
  • Managing the IT budget and procurement of hardware, software, and services. Ensuring cost-effective investments that align with business priorities. 
  • Staying informed of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in IT.  
  • Providing recommendations for technology adoption and innovation. 
  • Building and maintaining relationships with external vendors, partners, and technology providers to leverage external expertise, resources, and solutions as needed. 
  • Maintaining and supporting annual SOC 2 Type 2 certification. 

Qualifications 

  • University Degree or Diploma in Networking, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related program and/or relevant work experience. 
  • IT Security Certification. 
  • 10 years of work experience in a senior IT leadership role, with demonstrated success in managing IT operations and driving strategic initiatives. 
  • Proficiency in technologies relevant to the role. 
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on driving innovation and continuous improvement. 
  • Strategic thinker with a track record of developing and executing IT strategies that deliver tangible business results.

$130,000-$170,000
