This is a remote position.

Job Highlights:

Contract: Independent Contractor
Schedule: Flexible, preferred Mon–Thurs (15 Hrs per week)
Client Timezone: Brisbane, AU

Overview
We’re looking for a creative and detail-oriented Graphic Designer to join our team on a part-time basis. This role is primarily focused on creating high-quality visual content for digital and marketing use, with occasional support for social media posting. If you’re a designer who enjoys flexibility and wants to make a meaningful impact in a growing business, this could be the perfect fit.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design high-quality graphics and visual content for social media (Facebook, Instagram), marketing campaigns, and other digital channels.
  • Create and maintain a brand style guide, including logo updates, typography, color palettes, and design standards.
  • Develop mock-ups and landing page layouts in Figma for web and campaign initiatives.
  • Produce custom graphics, illustrations, and branded templates for ongoing marketing use.
  • Design visually compelling presentations, pitch decks, and sales materials.
  • Support light social media posting tasks as needed — such as scheduling pre-approved content or uploading designed posts via tools like Meta Business Suite or Later.
  • Work closely with the marketing and product teams to ensure all visuals align with branding and campaign objectives.
  • Stay current with design and platform trends to keep creative output fresh and effective.

Requirements
  • At least 3 years of experience as a Graphic Designer.
  • A strong portfolio showcasing a range of digital design work.
  • Proficient in Figma, Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, and Lightroom.
  • Solid understanding of typography, layout, color theory, and visual storytelling.
  • Attention to detail and ability to deliver polished, brand-consistent design work.
  • Basic familiarity with social media content posting tools (e.g., Later, Meta Business Suite).
Highly Regarded Skills
  • Experience in digital photography, video editing, or motion graphics.
  • Familiarity with UX/UI design principles.
  • Ability to manage multiple design projects and meet deadlines.
  • Proactive attitude and ability to work independently in a remote setup.
