This is a remote position.
We’re looking for an experienced Pre-Sales Solutions Engineer to join our growing Go-To-Market team at Unit21. Our platform empowers Fintechs to fight fraud and money laundering through a highly flexible, no-code environment. Customers trust us to help them move fast while staying compliant in an increasingly complex regulatory landscape.
As a core part of our GTM motion, you’ll help drive new business by owning the technical strategy throughout the pre-sales cycle. You'll work alongside Account Executives to deeply understand customer challenges, architect compelling solutions, and ensure seamless technical evaluations that convert.
Partner with Sales to lead discovery calls and uncover customer pain points and technical requirements.
Design and deliver tailored demos that highlight business value through AML and fraud use cases.
Own technical execution of Proofs of Concept (POCs), including data ingestion, configuration, and stakeholder alignment.
Act as the subject matter expert for our no-code platform and its application in AML and fraud prevention.
Serve as the primary technical point of contact throughout the pre-sales cycle.
Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, and Marketing to provide product feedback and influence roadmap decisions.
3–5 years of experience in a Solutions Engineering or Sales Engineering role, ideally in B2B SaaS.
Proven success driving complex sales cycles and contributing to revenue growth.
A passion for solving problems and translating business requirements into technical solutions.
Experience with:
Relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL)
APIs (REST, Webhooks, etc.)
Modern programming languages (e.g., Python, JavaScript)
Strong communication and project management skills with both internal and external stakeholders.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, early-stage startup environment.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
Experience in financial crime, AML, or fraud detection.
Familiarity with compliance and risk workflows in financial services.
Existing relationships within the financial or Fintech ecosystem.
Interest in cross-functional collaboration and customer advocacy.
Base salary range: $120,000 – $150,000 annually.
Note: This does not include variable compensation such as commissions, bonuses, or equity incentives, which are part of the total compensation package.
