Experienced Auditors (Senior and Senior In-Charge)

We are looking for experienced External Audit professionals for a contract assignment supporting our clients in Australia and the UK.

• Contract Duration: July 2025 – October 2025
• Industry Exposure: General & Commercial
• Audit Software: CaseWare experience required
• International Experience: Prior audit experience with Australian or UK clients is essential
• Location: Remote (South Africa-based professionals only)

Senior Auditor

Minimum Requirements:

• ITC / Board 1 Pass (non-negotiable)
• Fully qualified ACA / ACCA / CPA
• At least 4 years of external audit experience
• Experience reviewing and coaching junior team members
• Skilled in auditing and documenting both basic and complex sections

Senior In-Charge Auditor

Minimum Requirements:

• ITC / Board 1 Pass (non-negotiable)
• Fully qualified ACA / ACCA / CPA
• 5+ years of external audit experience
• Minimum 2 years leading teams and managing audits end-to-end
• Ability to plan budgets and resources
• Proven track record in reviewing and signing off on workpapers

Key Responsibilities

Deliver high-quality audit services to global clients.

Senior Auditors will:

• Complete complex audit sections with minimal rework
• Coordinate deliverables across the audit team
• Demonstrate strong knowledge of methodology and standards
• Communicate effectively with clients and engagement teams

Senior In-Charge Auditors will:

• Lead fieldwork and oversee team deliverables
• Prepare financial statements and manage related disclosures
• Educate and guide team members on systems and processes
• Monitor productivity, manage budgets, and ensure deadlines are met

Note:  

• Should you be successful in your application, you are expected to have access to the internet, and to ensure that the internet connection is uninterrupted and always accessible. This should be, at minimum, a fibre connection with a proven bandwidth of 20mbps upload and 10Mbps download speed, with a latency of no more than 30ms. This connection should be sustainable in the event of power interruptions.  

• Audit experience and alignment to a specific level within SAPRO, shall be determined based on your individual audit exposure, technical interview and evaluation.  

• Generally, we work on a 4 hour overlap with the host firm, however this is client dependent.
