Job description

Job Title: Technical Support Assistant Specializing in B2B Clients

Location: Remote (Work from Home)

Wage: $6 USD - $12 USD / hr

Schedule: 20-40 hrs/week

VirtueStaff is looking for a proactive and skilled Technical Support Assistant to support our client's Business IT Support team. This role involves providing technical assistance to their B2B clients, ensuring their IT systems operate smoothly and efficiently. If you have a strong technical background and a desire to deliver top-notch customer support, we want you to join our client's dynamic team!

Responsibilities
  • Handling technical support calls and handling outreach to vendors, and research help with service procurement
  • Troubleshoot and resolve a variety of technical issues related to hardware, software, and network configurations
  • Document client interactions and solutions in our ticketing system, ensuring thorough recordkeeping
  • Collaborate with senior IT staff to escalate complex issues and provide timely resolutions
  • Assist in onboarding new clients by providing training and support for their IT systems
  • Conduct remote system diagnostics and maintain regular follow-ups with clients to ensure satisfaction
  • Maintain an up-to-date knowledge base and contribute to the development of troubleshooting documentation
  • Monitor system performance and provide recommendations for improvements

Requirements

    • Experience in a technical support role in a B2B environment (web hosting, networking support, AWS experience or similar is an advantage)
    • Strong understanding of IT systems, including hardware, software, and network protocols
    • Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot effectively
    • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with a friendly and professional demeanor
    • Familiarity with ticketing systems and remote support tools
    • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
    • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
    • A willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and processes
