Job description

Roundpeg is on the lookout for a talented Data Analyst to join our dynamic associate pool for a three month preliminary contract. In this role, you will play a crucial part in transforming data into actionable insights that drive our organizational strategy and decision-making processes. You will work closely with various stakeholders to ensure that data is collected, analyzed, and reported in a manner that supports our business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collect, clean, and analyze large datasets from various sources to identify trends and patterns that inform business strategies.
  • Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to communicate findings to stakeholders effectively.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand their data needs and provide analytical support.
  • Implement data quality checks and ensure compliance with data governance standards.
  • Utilize statistical techniques and data visualization tools to present complex information clearly and compellingly.
  • Assist in the design and execution of A/B testing and other experimental designs to evaluate the impact of initiatives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Data Analyst or in a similar analytical role.
  • Strong proficiency in data analysis tools and languages such as SQL, Python, or R.
  • Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) to create insightful dashboards.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills, able to present complex data insights to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Familiarity with statistical analysis techniques and methodologies.
