Job description

Each&Other are running a (paid) Graduate Programme this year. The best way to be considered for this is to send us your CV, covering letter and a link to a portfolio of your work.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

Because we work in teams of designers, researchers and writers, we like to hire people with expertise in one specific aspect of User Experience or Service Design and a willingness to develop broad knowledge of related disciplines.

User Research / Service Design — You find out what users need and work with the team to determine how that knowledge should shape the design solution we deliver. A background in social sciences such as Psychology is a good grounding for this.

Interaction Design — You design the user interface, from the structure of the application right down to the details of transitions and individual interactions. A background in Design is good for this.

Content Strategy – Content is interface too. You understand how to weave the right message through the user experience using words, pictures and video. A background in Journalism is good for this.

Prototyping – You bring ideas to life quickly and iteratively using modern tools. You’re comfortable working with low- and high-fidelity prototypes to explore, test and communicate design concepts. Familiarity with tools like Figma, Cursor, Loveable and Bolt is a strong advantage, as is the ability to think through interaction flows, micro-interactions, and collaborative feedback cycles.

Requirements

  • You have completed a qualification relevant to the field of UX over the last twelve months.
  • You are already eligible to live and work in the EU.
  • You are familiar with emerging prototyping tools — such as Cursor, Loveable, and Bolt — and excited by the role they can play in design and collaboration.
  • You are interested in the exploding and rapidly evolving field of AI and how it can be used to our advantage in UX whilst ensuring we maintain excellent standards of quality.
