WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

The Product Manager will work closely with our Product Managers, Software Developers, internal stakeholders, and customers as software features are developed, and issues (defects) are fixed.   The Product Manager works with internal stakeholders to ensure new features are adopted by customers and prospects.

WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING?

  • Communicate with customers and both internal and external experts to understand the pain points of existing processes and solutions.
  • Develop user stories and functional specifications for product features, including any necessary Application Program Interfaces (APIs).
  • Work with our engineering team to ensure on-time delivery with high quality.
  • Review test cases related to user stories, functional specifications, and software issues.
  • Review software after it has gone through QA to validate that it is working as expected for individual stories and defects.
  • Speak to customers and internal stakeholders to promote the product and validate the direction of the features for which you are responsible.
  • Write release notes for features you work to develop.
  • Help to “refine” software defects as they are reported to ensure it is clear what is needed from development to resolve the issue.
  • Participate in internal enablement sessions about upcoming features.
  • As part of the product team, work to understand our place in the market.
  • Work with Marketing to develop external messaging for features you own.
  • Share best practices and contribute ideas on ways to resolve problems. Improve processes and procedures to serve the customer better and/or improve productivity.
  • Maintain a high level of integrity and confidentiality when dealing with sensitive and confidential information.
  • Maintain compliance with company policies and procedures regarding the HIPAA Privacy Rule. This role may view protected health information (PHI) as part of daily duties.

WHAT DO YOU NEED?

  • Great presentation skills that are used to discuss new features with both internal stakeholders and customers.
  • Experience working in an Agile software design and development environment.
  • A high degree of creativity and autonomy
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work cross-functionally.
  • Demonstrated customer focus by investigating and taking action to meet customers’ needs.
  • Solid organizational, planning, and follow-up skills, including attention to detail, timely communications, and ability to multi-task.

WHAT SETS YOU APART?

  • 2+ years of experience as a Product Manager of SaaS solutions
  • 2+ years of experience within the clinical research industry or biotech fields
  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, information technology or sales and marketing fields
  • Technical skills in areas such as web development, database programming or use of APIs.
