Job description

This is a remote position.

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM (The Woodlands, TX) — includes a 1-hour unpaid break.

Total Working Hours per Week: 40 hours


Scope:
  • Remote work setup in close collaboration with the Houston-based accounting team

  • Manage financial data related to real estate investments and private equity portfolios

  • Help maintain accurate financial records across multiple business lines


Responsibilities:
  • Perform accurate data entry tasks using NetSuite

  • Conduct thorough account reconciliations and validations

  • Assist with various administrative tasks within the accounting department

  • Support financial record-keeping for real estate and private equity portfolios

  • Collaborate with the Houston-based team to streamline accounting processes



Requirements
  • Experience in real estate accounting; familiarity with Rent Manager or Yardi preferred

  • Basic understanding of accounting principles with a willingness to learn more

  • Strong proficiency in data entry and attention to detail

  • Familiarity with or willingness to quickly learn NetSuite and RAM Manager

  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English

  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment while staying closely connected with the team
