Job description

This is a remote position.

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 6:00 AM to 3:00 PM (American Fork, Utah – Mountain Daylight Time)
Paid Hours per Week: 40 hours

As an Appointment Scheduler, you'll be the first point of contact for patients looking to book care. You’ll use modern scheduling tools to connect them with the right healthcare providers quickly and kindly. This remote role combines clear processes with meaningful patient interaction—and includes full training and ongoing support.


Responsibilities
  • Welcome and assist patients over the phone with scheduling medical appointments

  • Navigate scheduling systems to identify optimal appointment times based on patient needs

  • Collect and accurately record essential patient information while maintaining strict confidentiality

  • Follow established protocols to ensure proper scheduling across various medical services

  • Coordinate with healthcare providers to optimize scheduling efficiency

  • Document all patient interactions in accordance with standardized procedures

  • Maintain HIPAA compliance in all patient communications and data handling


Requirements
  • Excellent communication skills in both English and Spanish, with a patient-centered approach

  • Previous experience in customer service or healthcare scheduling preferred

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in recordkeeping

  • Reliable high-speed internet connection and a quiet home office setup

  • Ability to work U.S. business hours
