Job description

Employment Law Paralegal

We are seeking an experienced employment law paralegal with 3+ years of experience working at a US employment law firm. You will be joining a successful employment law firm on a part-time basis (25 hours/week) during US business hours (night shift). You will be permanently assigned to one client and will work exclusively with them. This is a long-term, permanent role.

Key Responsibilities
  • Draft and revise legal documents, including demand letters, complaints, and supplemental filings

  • Analyze case information to identify causes of action and employment law violations

  • Prepare and send second notices and follow-up documentation

  • Conduct legal research to support case strategy and document preparation

  • Communicate with clients professionally and consistently to gather case details and provide updates

  • Organize and manage case files and documentation using legal software and MS Office tools

  • Collaborate with attorneys and paralegals to ensure the timely completion of legal tasks

  • Maintain high standards of confidentiality, accuracy, and legal compliance

Candidate Requirements
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience working at a U.S.-based employment law firm

  • Advanced proficiency in both spoken and written English

  • Proven experience drafting legal documents, especially demand letters and complaints

  • Strong understanding of employment law and causes of action

  • Skilled in drafting supplemental documents and sending second notices

  • Excellent client communication and professional English copywriting skills

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel

  • Experience with Merus Case is a plus, but not required

  • Must have a quiet home office, reliable internet, and power backup

  • Willingness to work 25 hours per week remotely, during U.S. business hours

  • Immediate availability to start
