We are seeking an experienced employment law paralegal with 3+ years of experience working at a US employment law firm. You will be joining a successful employment law firm on a part-time basis (25 hours/week) during US business hours (night shift). You will be permanently assigned to one client and will work exclusively with them. This is a long-term, permanent role.
Draft and revise legal documents, including demand letters, complaints, and supplemental filings
Analyze case information to identify causes of action and employment law violations
Prepare and send second notices and follow-up documentation
Conduct legal research to support case strategy and document preparation
Communicate with clients professionally and consistently to gather case details and provide updates
Organize and manage case files and documentation using legal software and MS Office tools
Collaborate with attorneys and paralegals to ensure the timely completion of legal tasks
Maintain high standards of confidentiality, accuracy, and legal compliance
Minimum of 3 years of experience working at a U.S.-based employment law firm
Advanced proficiency in both spoken and written English
Proven experience drafting legal documents, especially demand letters and complaints
Strong understanding of employment law and causes of action
Skilled in drafting supplemental documents and sending second notices
Excellent client communication and professional English copywriting skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel
Experience with Merus Case is a plus, but not required
Must have a quiet home office, reliable internet, and power backup
Willingness to work 25 hours per week remotely, during U.S. business hours
