Job description

The position of Senior Total Rewards Analyst will be based out of our Dallas, TX location!

This position will be Hybrid.


Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Compensation Analyst with a minimum of 5 years of experience in total rewards to join our dynamic HR team. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in developing, implementing, and managing compensation programs that attract, retain, and motivate top talent. This position requires a strong analytical mindset, excellent communication skills, and a deep understanding of compensation practices and market trends.


What You’ll Do

  • Create, update, and maintain job descriptions and job codes
  • Administer variable pay and sales compensation calculations, ensuring compliance with legislation
  • Conduct audits of compensation, benefits, and payroll processes for accuracy
  • Support the annual merit and bonus planning processes
  • Prepare annual compensation survey submissions
  • Analyze internal pay equity and recommend adjustments to ensure fairness and compliance with policies
  • Conduct market research and benchmarking to maintain competitive compensation structures
  • Manage the creation, distribution and recordkeeping of employee compensation change and incentive plan documents
  • Manage the review and routing of employee job and compensation workflows and ensure accuracy
  • Assist in the administration and communication of employee benefits programs, including health, wellness, and retirement
  • Support the design and implementation of compensation strategies that attract top talent
  • Support the annual benefits enrollment process and ensure accurate communication of benefits information
  • Collaborate with the payroll team for accurate and timely payroll processing, including compensation adjustments and benefits deductions
  • Analyze payroll data for trends, discrepancies, and process improvements
  • Utilize HRIS and analytical tools to generate reports on compensation, benefits, and payroll metrics
  • Prepare presentations and reports for senior management to communicate findings and recommendations
  • Partner with HR and communication teams to develop effective communication strategies regarding total rewards programs
  • Provide guidance and support to employees on compensation, benefits, and payroll inquiries
  • Support M&A incentive integration processes and assist with special projects as needed
  • Other duties as assigned

What You’ll Need

  • High School or GED
  • Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent preferred
  • 5+ years in compensation analysis, benefits administration, incentive administration, and payroll support, preferably in a corporate environment
  • Experience with sales commissions and bonus programs to include incentive administration
  • Proficiency in compensation, variable pay, commission, and HRIS systems; experience with Xactly, SuccessFactors, ADP and PayFactors systems are a plus
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (pivot tables, v-lookups, macros) for data review and analysis
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., CCP, CBP, CPP, SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP) are advantageous

  • Proven analytical, organizational, problem-solving, and time management skills
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive data with discretion
  • Strong knowledge of compensation structures, benefits administration, payroll processes, and relevant legislation (e.g., FLSA, ERISA)
  • Proficient in HRIS and data analysis tools; advanced Excel skills required
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously
