We are seeking a Sales Support Specialist to support our Territory Sales team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in managing customer accounts, streamlining order processing, and ensuring the seamless execution of shipping and service operations. This position requires expertise in pricing, order management, and shipping procedures, along with the ability to resolve customer issues efficiently, optimize onboarding processes, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance the overall customer experience.

In This Role

  • Address customer claims and issues with professionalism and care, ensuring timely resolutions
  • Collaborate with the Account Executive and customers to assess needs, analyze information, and deliver tailored solutions
  • Identify trends in customer service and operational performance, implementing improvements to enhance service quality
  • Ensure timely and accurate processing of orders, prioritizing shipment building and optimizing transactional efficiencies
  • Maximize customer operational performance by providing resources and technical advice
  • Coordinate new product implementation; presentations, training materials, and product information
  • Cross train with Sales Support and Sales departments as needed
  • Travel to trade shows to assist the Sales team with order processing and customer interaction
  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with internal teams, ensuring exceptional service delivery
  • Develop understanding of the customer base within the specified geographic region or product category
  • Other duties as assigned, in accordance with training and qualifications

The Ideal Person

  • 2 years of experience in customer service or a related field
  • Experience managing accounts using an online Client Relationship Management (CRM) system
  • Proficiency in ERP systems
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Office, particularly Outlook and Excel
  • A strong passion for customer service and a natural ability to build rapport
  • Confident, personable, and professional demeanor
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with a resourceful and curious approach to problem-solving and presentation
