We are actively seeking a Junior Litigation Attorney near Armonk, NY, interested in a multi-year opportunity with our multinational technology corporation client.
Requirements Of The Role
Willingness to commute to Armonk, NY for two onsite office days.
1-5 years' experience as a Litigaton Attorney/Paralegal in a law office or similar setting.
Experienced in document (paper and electronically stored information) identification, collection, review, production, and document management.
Experienced in eDiscovery workflows and review platforms/software.
Demonstrated ability to perform legal research.
Experience with docketing databases is a significant plus.
Willingness and ability to become proficient with various legal and matter management software.
Ability to effectively interact with outside counsel, clients, vendors, and staff at all levels.
Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Paralegal certificate ideal.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Counsel partners with industry-leading clients in support of their sophisticated interim talent needs. Must be interested in practicing in an alternative, fixed-term legal services model.
Support our American multinational technology client with the following responsibilities:
Perform substantive tasks that assist paralegal and attorney teams in preparing for the case or matter at every stage, helping manage and organize the materials and information relating to particular matters and transactions.
Assist in analyzing large amounts of due diligence materials regarding all aspects of a company's business operations; proofread documents and exhibits, charts and diagrams.
Utilize current technologies and software programs with proficiency.
Work on multiple projects with varying and competing priorities and deadlines.
Work as a part of a team and independently.
