Job Description And Duties

THIS IS A LIMITED TERM POSITION WHICH MAY BE EXTENDED OR BECOME PERMANENT.

THIS POSITION MAY BE ELIGIBLE FOR A HYBRID WORK SCHEDULE. THE AMOUNT OF TELEWORK IS AT THE DISCRETION OF THE DEPARTMENT AND IS SUBJECT TO CHANGE AS BUSINESS NEEDS ARISE.

Lead with Purpose as the Performance Management Section Chief

In this strategic leadership role, you'll guide the systems and standards that ensure quality, innovation, and efficiency across the Unemployment Insurance (UI) program. As Section Chief of the Performance Management, you'll champion enterprise-wide performance and quality assurance practices that elevate both internal operations and the customer experience.

You'll Have The Opportunity To:

  • Drive the implementation of quality assurance frameworks that support consistent, enterprise-wide service delivery.
  • Lead the oversight and analysis of UI workload performance across Virtual Contact Centers (VCC), Field Office Basic Evaluations, and customer feedback surveys.
  • Identify and lead strategic projects that enhance operational and technological efficiencies.
  • Collaborate across divisions to streamline business processes and implement innovations that improve service quality and outcomes.
  • Deliver insightful performance data and trend analysis to guide executive decisions and continuous improvement efforts.
