Client Technology Specialist (Multiple Offices)

Sheppard, Mullin, Richter & Hampton LLP, a global Am Law 50 firm, has an immediate opening for a Client Technology Specialist.

This position can be based in any of our U.S. offices: Century City, Chicago, Los Angeles, Orange County, San Diego (Del Mar), San Diego (Downtown), San Francisco, Silicon Valley, Houston, Dallas, New York or Washington DC. There is only one opening.

The ideal candidate will work directly with attorneys and other users to administer client-facing technologies for the firm. The candidate will also be responsible for training users and working with vendor support to troubleshoot technical and licensing issues involved with these technologies.

Essential Functions Of Job

• Respond to user licensing requests
• Archive website contents as needed
• Provide regular guidance to users
• Serve as the in-house expert of the assigned client-facing technologies
• Troubleshoot user-reported issues
• Contribute to look-and-feel of website contents
  
  

Required Qualifications

Qualifications and Experience

• 1-2 years of practical experience administering web-based technologies and working directly with end-users.
• Individual must be able to work well with the existing team of technology administrators and other technology professionals, have excellent communication and troubleshooting skills, and be able to handle multiple projects and support requests.
• Candidate must demonstrate knowledge of standard administration of web-based technologies.
  
  

Education

Preferred: Bachelor’s Degree

Major: Computer Science or related discipline

Computer/Software Knowledge

Required: 1-2 Years Experience administering Web-Based Collaboration Systems (e.g. Microsoft SharePoint, Monday.com, Wordpress, Dropbox, Box, DocuSign or similar technologies)

Preferred: 1-2 Years Experience administering HighQ Extranets (by Thomson Reuters)

Work Environment

• The current Firm policy is hybrid–working in the office a minimum of 3 days per week and working from home the rest of the week (subject to change).
• Overtime may be required as the job duties demand.
  
  

California: The pay range for this position is $36.00 to $46.00 per hour.

New York: The pay range for this position is: $38.00 - $49.00 per hour. Please note that the foregoing compensation information is a good-faith assessment associated with this position only and is provided pursuant to the New York City Salary Transparency Law.

Washington D.C.: The pay range for this position is: $36.00 - $46.00 per hour. Medical, vision, and dental coverage is available, including coverage for dependents and domestic partners. Please note that the foregoing compensation and benefit information is a good-faith assessment associated with this position as of the time of this posting and is provided pursuant to the District of Columbia Wage Transparency Omnibus Amendment Act of 2023.

Illinois: The wage range for this position is: $38.00 - $49.00 per hour. This position is eligible for medical, vision, and dental insurance.
