Scion Staffing has been engaged to conduct a search for a Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) Biller for a rapidly growing healthcare start-up that partners with physicians administering specialty medications. This exciting opportunity is onsite in San Francisco, CA, with hybrid or fully remote options available for exceptional candidates.

POSITION OVERVIEW:

We are seeking a skilled RCM Biller to join a small but mighty team and play a vital role in full-cycle medical billing operations. This individual will oversee all aspects of the revenue cycle, including benefits verification, claims management, prior authorizations, medical coding, and billing compliance. RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Manage full-cycle revenue operations, including insurance verification, prior authorization, billing, and collections
  • Accurately code and submit medical claims based on payer-specific drug billing guidelines
  • Navigate and apply payer medical policy for specialty infused drugs
  • Collaborate closely with physicians and internal teams to ensure accurate and timely billing
  • Monitor compliance with healthcare regulations and internal policies
  • Resolve claim denials and proactively follow up to secure reimbursements

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Proven experience with medical billing software such as eClinicalWorks (ECW), Greenway, or Epic
  • Comprehensive knowledge of healthcare billing and revenue cycle management processes
  • Familiarity with specialty infused drug billing is highly preferred
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic startup environment
  • Detail-oriented, collaborative, and comfortable with ambiguity

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:

This is a full-time, temp-to-hire opportunity offering a competitive hourly wage of $28 with the strong potential for long-term placement. Benefits will be available upon conversion and include health coverage, PTO, and additional perks aligned with internal staff offerings.
