The Sei Development Foundation is seeking a Deal Lead / Analyst to join the team and play a critical role in structuring and executing strategic partnerships and investments. This person will support deal execution efforts including due diligence, negotiation, and post-deal follow-up.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a background in investment banking, listings at a crypto exchange, or deal execution at a protocol foundation, who is eager to shape the future of a rapidly growing blockchain ecosystem.
Own negotiating and structuring deals with prospective partners, investors, and ecosystem teams through execution
Conduct due diligence on teams, projects, and opportunities in the Sei ecosystem
Negotiate deal terms and support legal documentation processes in collaboration with legal and strategy teams
Work closely with cross-functional stakeholders to align on strategic priorities and ensure a smooth handoff to ecosystem support teams post-deal
Maintain a pulse on industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitor activity
Experience in investment banking, venture capital, listings at a crypto exchange, or working on strategic partnerships or investments at a protocol
Strong understanding of token economics, web3 deal structures, and the dynamics of blockchain ecosystems
Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
Highly analytical, organized, and detail-oriented
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment with a bias for action
Passion for crypto, decentralized technologies, and the future of web3
Experience structuring complex deals across DeFi and other verticals
Based in New York City
Ability to build lightweight models and forecasts to support deal evaluation
