Job description

TPAPT is hiring for one of our awesome chapters! We are looking for an experienced college essayist.

What you'll do:

Work via Zoom or Google Meet with students in grades 9 - 12 to create and implement a roadmap for college essays
Assist students with brainstorming, essay development, supplemental essays
Proof read and copy edit as needed
Consult with parents as needed to apprise of student progress
Work with a dedicated and enjoyable team, great kids and supportive families.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in English from a US 4 year degree granting college (MFA preferred)
At least two years as a college essay specialist
Deep knowledge of the common application essay prompts
Writing samples from two of your past students
Strong attention to detail and willingness to tackle the administrative side of our college support programs
Exceptionally strong communicator
Tech savvy, confident, and professional in an online setting.
