Sr Go + React developer

Job Overview:

We are seeking a talented Full-Stack Software Engineer with strong expertise in Golang and experience in React for frontend development. While this role is more backend-focused, the ideal candidate should be capable of delivering high-quality frontend solutions. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain scalable, high-performance applications using Golang, and PostgreSQL.
• Build and enhance modern frontend applications primarily with React.
• Work with existing legacy code (HandlebarsJS and BackboneJS) where necessary.
• Design and implement high-quality RESTful APIs using OpenAPI standards.
• Write clean, efficient, and well-tested code using multiple testing frameworks (unit, integration, and API/application testing).
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
• Take ownership of projects and demonstrate a strong engineering mindset by driving technical decisions and best practices.
• Design and implement distributed system architectures that ensure scalability and reliability.

Required Qualifications:

• 4+ years of experience working with Golang.
• Strong expertise in PostgreSQL and relational database design.
• Hands-on experience with React for frontend development.
• Understanding of RESTful API design and experience with OpenAPI.
• Experience with modern software engineering practices, including CI/CD and automated testing.
• Fluent English. 

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with multiple testing frameworks (unit, integration, API/application testing).
• Familiarity with HandlebarsJS and BackboneJS.
• Understanding of key distributed system patterns.
• Experience working in security-related applications or highly scalable systems.
