This role is fully remote and can be located anywhere within the continental US, however will need to work Eastern Time.

Job Summary

The Foundation Website Specialist has a passion for planning and executing against omnichannel strategy, putting the donor/consumer at the center of all digital marketing campaigns and website interactions. The Website Specialist will serve as the website content and Wordpress administrator and social media administrator for overall web presence and social strategies to acquire, nurture and engage with Foundation donors and potential donors with a personalized digital experience.

Essential Functions

  • Create, write, design, manage, and optimize web content for the organization
  • Implement and monitor site analytics to report on KPIs and identify optimization opportunities
  • Ensure Search Engine Optimization best practices are utilized, and use website analytics data to support decision-making on-site architecture, organization, and future content development
  • Track keyword rankings across targeted areas and optimize content accordingly to enhance the Foundation’s presence in search engines
  • Build, schedule, and promote social media content and campaigns
  • Other duties as assigned

Education

  • High School Degree or GED
  • Bachelor’s degree in related field (preferred, not required)

Experience

  • 2 years of recent experience in WordPress site administration

Skills And Abilities

  • Strong organizational skills with excellent attention to detail and follow-through
  • Great communication skills, both in writing and verbal communication
  • Able to test the various website elements by seeking and gaining user feedback
