We are looking for an in-house Legal Counsel to manage and promote all the company's legal matters. As our Legal Counsel, you will handle a full scope of legal issues, including commercial engagements, IP management, data privacy, litigation, labor law, etc.

Your life at MAËLYS will look like…

  • Lead the handling of all the company's legal matters, working closely with the CFO, CEO, and other stakeholders.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate a broad range of agreements.
  • Provide practical, business-oriented legal counsel to various departments and stakeholders across the company.
  • Work with external advisors to handle the company's IP, litigation, consumer law, and compliance.
  • Support the company's compliance requirements in aspects such as consumer law, GDPR, FDA regulation, etc.
  • Design and improve internal processes to support the company's growth.
  • Draft corporate policies.

 You will thrive in this role if you have…

  • 4-6 years of commercial law experience. Experience should include serving as both an in-house counsel in a global company as well as having experience from a prominent law firm.
  • Vast experience in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating a variety of commercial contracts.
  • Desire and ability to work on a wide range of legal matters, including those outside of your expertise.
  • Hands-on type of person with the ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and work under deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Business-oriented with an analytical approach, attention to detail, and organizational abilities.
  • Excellent verbal/written communication skills in both English (native-level) and Hebrew.
