We are seeking an innovative synthesis researcher with proven expertise in inorganic and organic nanoparticles synthesis to join our materials team. In this role, you will primarily focus on the development, synthesis, optimization and characterization of nanoparticles for advanced material applications, alongside work on polymers and small molecules. This position requires hands-on experience in laboratory and wet chemistry development, in a supportive and dynamic team that values creativity, innovation, and collaboration.


Responsibilities

  • Design, synthesize, and develop inorganic and organic nanoparticles for advanced material applications.
  • Synthesis of organic polymers and small molecules.
  • Optimize syntheses processes to improve efficiency, yield, and material properties, as well as stability, scalability, and cost-effectiveness.
  • Characterize synthesized materials using techniques such as SEM, TEM, XRD, DLS, GPC, NMR, FTIR, UV-Vis spectroscopy and rheology.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate synthesized materials into new product development.
  • Analyze, document, and present experimental results, providing insights for further development.
  • Stay updated on the latest developments in polymer and nanoparticles synthesis to drive innovation.

Requirements

  • M.Sc. or Ph.D. in Chemistry – a must.
  • Proven experience in inorganic and organic nanoparticle synthesis and characterization – a must.
  • Hands-on experience with wet-chemistry techniques.
  • Fluent in English, both written and verbal.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to details.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team in an agile environm
