Job description

Description

Datarails is the financial planning and analysis platform that automates data consolidation, reporting and planning, while enabling finance teams to continue using their own Excel spreadsheets and financial models. Datarails integrates with the most popular accounting software, ERPs and CRMs so all your data can be consolidated. Reduce risk, make informed decisions, and ensure stakeholders have the most reliable data at their fingertips. Transform your Excel into a lean, mean, FP&A machine. Join our dynamic team as a PreSales FP&A Solutions Consultant and play a pivotal role in driving the future of FP&A!

Are you ready to showcase your skills to CFOs and revolutionize finance? Love Microsoft Excel (we do, too!)? This is an opportunity to apply your expertise and transform FP&A from a task-centric function to a value-added powerhouse.

This is a 100% remote, full-time (~40 hours/week) position open to candidates in the UK and Germany. The work schedule will require some overlap with US Eastern time, but we are flexible and will work with you to determine a specific schedule.

What You'll Do

  • Engage in deep discussions with CFOs and finance teams to understand their FP&A business requirements, internal processes, and customize their Datarails experience.
  • Conduct captivating product demos with finance teams, understanding their pain points and identifying complementary solutions.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to develop Proof of Concepts (POCs) that showcase the capabilities and value of Datarails.
  • Partner closely with the sales team, evaluating and assisting in sales strategies and providing solution recommendations.
  • Leverage your in-depth understanding of competitive products and technologies to position Datarails effectively in sales presentations.
  • Assist in the development of proposals and responses to RFI and RFP documents.

Requirements

  • 5-8+ years of progressive experience in accounting/finance, FP&A, or relevant sales engineering roles.
  • Strong grasp of financial applications, including budgeting, planning, forecasting, month-end close, financial reporting, and consolidation platforms + intermediate to advanced Excel skills
  • Ability to gather and understand potential customers' requirements, using a consultative approach to effectively demonstrate how Datarails meets their needs.
  • Excellent presentation skills, with the ability to communicate complex concepts effectively and clearly.
  • Strong business acumen, collaborative skill set, and a team-oriented everyone-wins attitude.
  • Understanding of budgeting, forecasting, and reporting processes across multiple industries such as manufacturing, services, banking, insurance, etc., a plus
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Business/Finance, a plus.

What We Offer

  • Competitive compensation, ongoing recognition, and, most importantly, a chance to learn, contribute, and develop your skills.
  • A supportive, agile, and creative work environment with brilliant colleagues!
  • Private medical and dental insurance through BUPA
  • Pension scheme with salary sacrifice OR net pay options with 3% employer pension contribution
  • 20 days of PTO + 8 paid company holidays + 7 days of company-provided sick leave
