ABOUT THE JOB

The Tepa Companies are seeking an VP of Environmental to drive growth and innovation across our environmental programs. As VP of Environmental, you will guide cross-program collaboration—spanning PFAS, Remediation, Technology, and Engineering—to align with DoD priorities, identify emerging opportunities, and position the organization at the forefront of PFAS solutions. You will also be responsible for advancing the organization’s PFAS technical capabilities and strengthening key client relationships.

Job Functions:

  • Develops and implements a comprehensive PFAS strategy aligned with DoD priorities and evolving policy directions.
  • Creates and manages long term goals of the program and coordinates with GM for impacts to the overall company business plan.
  • Assesses program performance and aim to maximizes ROI.
  • Analyzes program risks
  • Identifies and pursues PFAS-related opportunities across DOD programs and other clientele.
  • Supports proposal development and client engagement efforts to grow the organization’s PFAS portfolio.
  • Collaborates with internal teams in Remediation, Technology, and Engineering to integrate PFAS solutions and expand service offerings.
  • Facilitates knowledge sharing and innovation across programs to ensure cohesive, forward-thinking approaches. 
  • Provides subject matter expertise on PFAS regulations, treatment technologies, risk management, and policy trends. 
  • Supports project teams in developing technically sound and compliant PFAS strategies.
  • Serves as a key point of contact for DoD clients regarding PFAS issues.
  • Cultivates and maintains relationships with government stakeholders, strategic partners, and regulators.
  • Monitors emerging science, technologies, and policy developments related to PFAS.
  • Recommends and leads innovation initiatives to position the organization as an industry leader in PFAS response.
  • Mentors internal staff and provides business development and technical training to enhance PFAS-related knowledge and capabilities across the organization.


WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

  • Master’s degree engineering, environmental, business management, or a similar degree program
  • 15+ years of experience as a Project Manager in the A/E/C or technology industries
  • 10+ years developing cost estimates and developing proposals/bids
  • Ability and desire to build rapport with field staff, office staff, clientele, Tepa management staff, subcontractors
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Capability of overseeing multiple projects simultaneously
  • Demonstrated understanding of project financials 
  • Strong interpersonal, logical thinking, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to perform at a high level under stringent project deadlines
  • Ability to prioritize required tasks to meet multiple schedule deadlines
  • Awareness of potential clients, competition, and teaming partners 
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office products, especially Word and Excel 
  • Dedicated attention to detail
