Job description

About the Team/Role 

As a member of the Brand team within Corporate Marketing, the Customer Evidence Content Manager will own the customer story program at WEX. This role works with stakeholders across multiple departments to develop powerful stories of our customers’ success that strengthen the WEX brand. This role blends content creation skills with a deep understanding of customer evidence and brand development.

How you’ll make an impact

  • Customer Storytelling: Manage the full customer story program, including theme development, content creation, project management, approvals, and performance tracking of written and video customer story content. This includes working with various teams, such sales, product, and marketing, to source and produce a variety of customer-focused content, including: Written Content (Case studies, testimonials, blog posts, social media posts, and website copy)

  • Visual/Video Content: Work with Creative Agency and social marketing team to develop customer testimonial videos (directing on-site video production when needed), potential infographics, social media graphics, quote cards, etc.

  • Content Strategy: Working with Marketing leadership, build a robust story pipeline that aligns to the enterprise objectives. Set key performance indicators (KPIs) and goals that ensure timely execution and a robust story pipeline. 

  • Customer Collaboration: As the primary customer contact, work directly with customers to build compelling stories: gather information, conduct virtual interviews (on-site and in-person when appropriate), and obtain necessary approvals for content creation. Build rapport with customer advocates.

  • Content Distribution & Promotion: Develop customer evidence promotion strategies and templates; provide marketing teams the resources they need to distribute content across relevant channels, maximizing reach and engagement.

Experience you'll bring 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, marketing or related field

  • Minimum 5 years in creating compelling customer evidence content including case studies, testimonials, video content, and blog posts

  • Data-driven mindset with the ability to track and analyze content performance metrics

  • Strong organization and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively

  • Demonstrates ability to build and maintain strong relationships with customers, fostering trust and encouraging participation in evidence programs.

  • Strong self-motivation with a desire to make an impact, an infectious positive attitude, and an ability to work independently with minimal direct supervision

  • A passion for representing the brand and its values, acting as a dedicated brand ambassador in all customer interactions and content creation.

  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate/present effectively with business partners and all levels of the organization

  • Ability to learn quickly, prioritize and work under pressure, adapt to a rapidly changing ever-evolving environment and demonstrate a sense of urgency—while not being quickly frustrated or easily flustered

  • Personal credibility in one-on-one, team and public forums

The base pay range represents the anticipated low and high end of the pay range for this position. Actual pay rates will vary and will be based on various factors, such as your qualifications, skills, competencies, and proficiency for the role. Base pay is one component of WEX's total compensation package. Most sales positions are eligible for commission under the terms of an applicable plan. Non-sales roles are typically eligible for a quarterly or annual bonus based on their role and applicable plan. Pay Range: $79,000.00 - $105,000.00
