We are one of the fastest-growing remote staffing providers in North America, recently ranked #29 on the Inc. 5000. We serve over 700 employees across two countries, and we’ve done it without a formal sales team. Now, we’re ready to scale to the next level and hire a Head of Sales to build the engine that takes us there.


As a Head of Sales in the first 12 months, you will:

  • Own and close inbound and referral leads
  • Build scalable sales processes, playbooks, and KPIs
  • Attend in-person events such as conferences and trade shows on behalf of Gordian
  • Hire, train, and develop a sales team
  • Lead our outbound team
  • Collaborate with marketing on messaging and ICP
  • Work within and help optimize Hubspot
  • Run forecasting and weekly pipeline reviews


In The Next Phase

  • Step into a Director of Revenue role
  • Lead a unified revenue team (Sales, Marketing, Client Success)
  • Oversee full-funnel growth and client experience strategy
  • Sit on the leadership team and help drive company-wide goals


WORK SCHEDULE

Monday to Friday 9:00 am to 6:00 pm Central Time

Requirements

  • 3–7 years of B2B sales experience in a service business
  • 2 years of experience in a sales leadership role.
  • Strong grasp of sales metrics and pipelines.
  • Ability to travel 15-25% of the time, depending on season.
  • You’re energized by building, not just managing what already exists
  • You want ownership, autonomy, and a clear growth path


Bonus Points

  • HubSpot or similar CRM platforms.
  • Experience in staffing, outsourcing, or client services.
  • Familiarity with building outbound SDR or BDC teams
  • Understanding of marketing/sales alignment and customer lifecycle
