We are a company located in Wheat Ridge, Colorado with clients around the United States. Currently, we are looking to fill a few full-time work-from-home openings for a Medical Insurance Representative in your area. Essential duties will be to handle medical billing, follow-up tasks, appeals, and obtain payment and ensure accurate account resolution. We are looking for professionals who will represent our company well.
Applicants must meet the following requirements:
Proficiency in Epic, Meditech, or Cerner systems required
Possess excellent phone and customer service skills and abilities
Able to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels
Proficient in professional and hospital billing and follow-up tasks (inclusive of payer calls and use of portals)
Medicare billing experience preferred
Experience filing medical insurance appeals
ICD-10 coding knowledge preferred
Organized and dependable and analytical
Accurate and thorough in performing work assignments
Able to work well independently and with a team
Able to meet established goals
Adaptable and resourceful
Bilingual skills a plus, but not required
High speed internet
A quiet work space, void of distractions or background noises
