What we’re looking for:

We’re seeking a strategic, results-driven Senior Marketing Analyst with deep expertise in advanced marketing measurement, forecasting, and scalable analytics solutions to join Custom Ink’s Data & Analytics team. In this impactful role, you’ll dive deep into marketing performance data to uncover trends, measure campaign effectiveness, and optimize customer acquisition strategies. This role requires both technical fluency and business acumen, with a proven ability to influence cross-functional decision-making through data. The ideal candidate is experienced in e-commerce environments, thrives in fast-paced, collaborative teams, and is motivated by driving growth through data innovation.

  • 7+ years of experience in marketing analytics, preferably with exposure to e-commerce, subscription, or DTC business models.

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Marketing, Statistics, Economics, Data Science, or a related quantitative field.

  • Proven experience designing and executing advanced attribution models to evaluate marketing impact and optimize spend.

  • Demonstrated ability to build and validate forecasting and scenario planning models, using time series analysis or saturation modeling techniques to support budget and performance planning.

  • Advanced proficiency in SQL and analytical programming languages, Python and R, for data extraction, modeling, and analysis.

  • Hands-on experience with data visualization and business intelligence tools (e.g., Tableau, Looker, or similar), including automating reporting for scalable insights.

  • Strong understanding of digital and web analytics tools, including Google Analytics 4, Google Tag Manager, and media data integration platforms.

  • Familiarity with marketing automation platforms and A/B multivariate testing methodologies.

  • Experience building or contributing to media mix modeling (MMM) pipelines, including integrating diverse datasets and evaluating model performance.

  • Clear, compelling communication skills with the ability to translate complex analyses into business recommendations for technical and non-technical stakeholders.

  • A proactive, systems-thinking approach to problem-solving with a passion for continuous learning, experimentation, and innovation.

  • Collaborative mindset and experience working across cross-functional marketing, product, and data teams to embed analytics into decision-making.

Compensation:

We are committed to providing pay transparency and equitable compensation.

  • The annual base salary range for this salary, exempt position is $130,000 - $167,000 plus a performance bonus targeted at 5% of base salary, tied to individual/company performance and continued retention. Placement within the range is determined by a variety of factors, including but not limited to: knowledge, skills, years & depth of experience, and equity with internal team members.

What you’ll do:

  • Analyze Marketing Performance: Use data to evaluate marketing campaigns across channels (email, social media, search, and display). Identify patterns in Customer Acquisition Cost (CAC), Return on Ad Spend (ROAS), conversion rates, and Customer Lifetime Value (CLTV) to uncover opportunities for growth and efficiency.

  • Develop Analysis Tools for Marketing Teams: Build compelling dashboards and reports to track key performance metrics and enable data-driven decisions. Share insights with technical and non-technical audiences through clear and actionable reporting.

  • Optimize Customer Segmentation and Targeting: Leverage data to identify valuable customer segments based on demographics, behaviors, and purchase history. Work with marketing teams to design personalized strategies that resonate with these segments.

  • Refine Marketing Attribution: Design and implement attribution models to measure the effectiveness of marketing touchpoints. Use these insights to recommend channel investments and optimize marketing spend.

  • Lead A/B Testing and Experimentation: Develop and execute A/B tests for marketing campaigns. Analyze test results to provide actionable recommendations and improve performance metrics.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams: Partner closely with marketing, product, and data science teams to align goals and incorporate insights into decision-making. Foster a culture of data-driven collaboration.

  • Contribution to a culture of data-driven innovation by collaborating effectively across teams and providing thought leadership in marketing analytics.
