Centralized Asset Protection Specialist- Field Investigator
Position Overview
This role will work with cross-functional business partners (central investigations teams, ecommerce fraud analysts, field asset protection teams, asset protection analysts, law enforcement and retail industry networks) and leverage investigative tools to eliminate and reduce company exposure to external and internal theft and fraud. This role will support the Lower Mainland BC
Key Responsibilities
Internal and external case resolution
Utilize information from system-based reports and data bases to identify and communicate criminal activity impacting company assets
Investigation of CCTV alerts and central investigation generated alerts to identify internal and external theft trends in the field
Coordinate video, data, reporting and investigative steps to update case management systems and prepare files for law enforcement
Responsible for the identification and elimination of organized retail criminal activity (ORC) and internal theft within their market of responsibility.
Identify Modus Operandi (MOs) that spotlight processes and operational weaknesses exposing the company to risks of ORC activity and/or internal theft
Collaborate with internal and external partners to develop techniques to mitigate risks of ORC activity and internal theft
Develop and maintain positive working relationships with AP teams, ecommerce partners, financial institutions, law enforcement and industry partners
Provide regular updates to leadership on investigations and recoveries
Measure impressions of control for AP and operational processes and initiatives
