Job description

A Budget Supervisor oversees and manages the budgeting processes within an organization, ensuring fiscal responsibility and accuracy. They analyze financial data, prepare budgets, monitor performance, and make recommendations for improvements. This role often involves supervising a team of budget analysts or staff, as well as coordinating with other departments. 

Key Responsibilities:

Budget Development:

Developing and managing budgeting processes, including preparing financial projections and budgets for various departments. 

Budget Monitoring and Analysis:

Monitoring budget performance, identifying areas for cost savings, and making adjustments as needed. This includes analyzing financial trends and making recommendations for budget adjustments. 

Supervisory Duties:

Supervising and managing a team of budget analysts or staff, including hiring, performance management, and training. 

Reporting and Communication:

Preparing and presenting budget reports to senior management, as well as responding to budget inquiries and providing support to other departments. 

Compliance:

Ensuring compliance with organizational policies, procedures, and regulations. 

Skills and Qualifications:

  • A bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field is typically required, and experience in financial analysis and budget management is often preferred. 

  • Budget Experience Min 5 years.

  • Supervisory experience.
