Job description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Field Support Engineer (FSR) to operate Electronic Warfare (EW) systems while providing on-site support during various Department of Defense (DoD) exercises at multiple installations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Electronic Warfare Operations and Concepts of Operations (CONOPs), with a proven track record of successfully executing EW missions. Former US Army 17E personnel are highly encouraged to apply. This role requires extensive travel, up to 75%, to support DoD exercises and ensure the effective operation of the EW systems.

Your tasks


  • Operate Electronic Warfare systems during DoD exercises, ensuring effective execution of EW missions in diverse operational environments.
  • Collaborate with military personnel to understand operational requirements and develop effective CONOPs for EW operations.
  • Conduct training sessions and workshops for military personnel on the operational use the EW system, enhancing their readiness and effectiveness.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related the EW system in real-time during exercises, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.
  • Assist in the planning and execution of EW exercises, providing insights and recommendations based on operational experience and best practices.
  • Document and report on system performance, operational challenges, and lessons learned during exercises to inform future improvements.
  • Stay current with advancements in Electronic Warfare technologies and tactics, ensuring that operational support is aligned with the latest developments.

Your Qualifications


  • Bachelor’s degree in STEM field (or equivalent military experience).
  • Extensive knowledge of Electronic Warfare Operations and Concepts of Operations (CONOPs).
  • Former US Army 17E/170B (Electronic Warfare Specialist) is highly preferred.
  • Proven experience operating EW systems in military or defense environments.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively under pressure in dynamic environments.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with military personnel and other stakeholders.
  • This role may require extensive travel, potentially up to 75%, to support DoD exercises and ensure the effective operation of the EW system.
  • Active security clearance (or eligibility to obtain one) is preferred.
  • Must be U.S. person capable of receiving U.S. Gov't security clearance

The total compensation for this position is $95k-145k. Total compensation includes base salary, variable pay (when applicable) plus benefits. The range is determined by the position, geographic location and level. Individual pay within the range is determined by several factors including location, education or training, relevant work history, sales incentive structure and job-related skills.
