Job description

Blackmore Partners is seeking highly motivated candidates to participate in our Human Resources and Talent Acquisition internship program. This is a remote, unpaid internship that requires a 3 or 6-month commitment of 30-40 hours per week.

As an Human Resources and Talent Acquisition Intern, you will play a critical role in supporting our organization's recruitment, onboarding, and employee management processes. You will work closely with our Human Resources Director to assist in daily operations, including scheduling interviews, conducting initial candidate screenings, and managing employee data.

This internship is an excellent opportunity for individuals interested in developing their HR and recruitment skills in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. It is also eligible for college credit with university approval.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the Human Resources Director to facilitate the intern hiring process, including tracking applicants in CRM systems, screening resumes, coordinating phone and virtual interviews via Teams, and confirming upcoming interviews
  • Manage attendance records and maintain accurate data in the internship program
  • Update and maintain CRM systems with applicant and employee/trainee information
  • Evaluate hiring needs with the Human Resources Manager and recommend improvements to the HR team
  • Present weekly task reports during company meetings
  • Develop and maintain a pipeline of qualified candidates for current and future positions
  • Organize and manage the onboarding process for new hires
  • Assist the talent acquisition team with active searches and attend client meetings
  • Reach out to private equity firms and executives for talent acquisition opportunities
  • Communicate effectively and professionally with all company employees
  • Participate in hosting training and performance review sessions
  • Demonstrate the ability to handle confidential and sensitive information appropriately
  • Contact applicants and c-level executives via phone and email for the internship program
  • Actively participate in cross-functional projects that involve onboarding and administration by collaborating closely with Digital Marketing and Information Technology teams.
  • Regularly report daily activity to your supervisor, ensuring transparency and clear communication
  • Full-time 6-month Human Resources Interns who excel in their role may earn the opportunity to work closely with the Human Resources Director and Partner as an assistant or team lead, contributing to daily operations and taking on key responsibilities as needed
  • Participate or Coordinate team building activities within the internship program


Requirements:

  • Good organizational, communication, and time-management skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in Human resources, Psychology, Sociology, or related field preferred
  • Must have a stable computer/laptop, Wi-Fi, and working webcam
  • Ability to adapt to rapidly changing priorities and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
  • The pro-active mindset with the motivation to self-start on tasks
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills (Reading, Speaking, and Writing) with team members and supervisors
  • Works well independently and in a small team setting and has high attention to details
  • Understanding of finance or business administration (PLUS)
  • Related HR experience (PLUS)
  • Advanced level of technical proficiency and computer literacy (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Microsoft Management (PLUS)
  • Experience with using LinkedIn, and/or any database management tool is a plus
