Job description

CeLeen, an operating firm of Command Holdings, is seeking a Cloud Engineer to support and work with Azure Commercial and Azure Government cloud offerings. This includes patching, configuration, service and incident fulfillment, and capacity management. The role involves maintaining the integrity of cloud resources to meet established requirements for service levels, disaster recovery, business continuity, and security. The Cloud Engineer will coordinate and interface with customers, suppliers, and domain experts such as networking, storage, and datacenter personnel. We are looking for a self-motivated, driven, problem solver to join our team.

Duties and Responsibilities may include but are not limited to:

  • Solve complex problems involving the integration of a wide variety of technologies including servers, storage, networking, software, middleware, and all systems supporting virtual environments.
  • Perform full lifecycle management (analysis, design, development, testing, implementation, integration, and maintenance) of the virtualization infrastructure, including testing of new hypervisors, integration with automation front ends, and Cloud offerings.
  • Responsible for contributing to planning activities such as capacity scalability and robustness and must be able to quickly learn new technologies and make recommendations to solve new problems.
    Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand application requirements and translate them into automated solutions.

Expected salary range: $120,000-135,000

Work Environment:

  • Moderate noise (i.e. business office with computers, phone and printers) and /or occasional Loud noise (airfield, large equipment).
  • Ability to sit at a computer terminal for an extended period of time.

Physical Demands:

  • While performing the responsibilities of the job, the employee is required to sit, stand, talk, and hear.
  • Employee is often required to sit and use their hands and fingers to operate a computer.

Travel:

  • 10-20% / Occasional travel-will have to travel to Albuquerque, NM quarterly.

Requirements

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree with 4 years’ experience //OR// 10 years’ job-related experience in lieu of degree.
  • Minimum of 4 years experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and networking concepts.
  • Experience with Hybrid cloud private/public network integration.
  • Experience in PowerShell scripting.
  • Solid understanding of virtual computing and virtualization software (VMware, Hyper-v, etc).
  • Solid understanding of networking and software-defined networking (SDN).
  • Familiarity with DevOps principles and methodologies, deployment checklists, and more.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a DOE Q clearance.
  • Ability to pass a federal background investigation including fingerprinting.
  • Must be a U.S. citizen.
  • Professional proficiency in English is required.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master Degree in related field.
  • Current, active DOE-Q Clearance
  • Experience with storage systems including SAN, NAS, vSAN.
  • Some programming languages experience such as C# or Java.
