How You'll Make An Impact
Deliver outstanding and professional service, remotely or on-site, in key categories such as installation. commissioning, maintenance, repairs, advanced services, extensions, upgrades, retrofits, end-of-life services, and replacements.
Exceed customer expectations by understanding and anticipating current and potential needs.
Coordinate logistics of resources and spare parts for all site service jobs.
Perform tasks requiring the ability to read and work from applicable electrical and mechanical drawings, and/or instruction and technical manuals.
Identify and develop potential sales and business opportunities based on knowledge of customers and collaboration across Hitachi Energy.
Suggest product and process improvements within the business to enhance operations and customer service.

Operate and maintain Vacuum Oil Processors (VOPs) and oil handling equipment, completing vacuum oil processing logs.
Your Background
Associate’s Degree and 2 years of professional work experience or High School Diploma/GED and 5 years of professional work experience.
Broad knowledge of transformer field service operations and transformer field testing.
Knowledgeable and fully fluent in transformer installation and assembly, vacuum and oil processing, shell and/or core form transformer designs, and components internal to the transformer.
Proficiency with Load Tap Changer (LTC) maintenance and repair is a plus.
Experience welding above and below oil on transformer tanks is a plus.
Possession of a Class A CDL is a plus.
Must have a valid driver’s license and ability to travel up to 85%.
Candidate must already have work authorization that would permit them to work for Hitachi Energy in the United States.
