We are seeking a dynamic Events & Digital Marketing Specialist to joing our Sales & Marketing Retail team for 8 months (contract – 100%), based in Geneva or remote in Switzerland.

 

In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating the different marketing events such as the congresses, symposia, internal Sales meetings as well as supporting various marketing operational projects, with a focus on digital ones.  You will report to the Swiss Retail Head and work closely with the Marketing team incl. Marketing Managers, KAM, MSL, Regulatory, Medical and the Customer Service .

 


Your key responsibilities


Event Management

  • Plan and coordinate congresses, symposia and other external events in Switzerland (e.g. congress registration, coordination with booth provider, catering, promotional materials, communication with stakeholders)
  • Organize internal Sales & Marketing meetings (bi-annual sales meeting and additional 1-2 day workshops)

Digital Marketing & Operational Support

  • Support the launch of a new website (already initiated – support needed for finalization, testing, go-live and follow-up)
  • Create and send several weekly newsletters to various target audiences in DE/FR/IT languages (content provided by product managers)
  • Contribute and coordinate other digital marketing initiatives (online press, advertisement, webinars, etc.)
  • Provide general support to the marketing team: coordination with external providers (designers, printers), purchase order follow-up, basic contract administration, etc.

 

We are looking for


  • Min 3 years’ experience in a coordination role within a Marketing Department
  • Solid experience in events management
  • First experience in the Pharma or Health industry in Switzerland is  a plus
  • Strong communication & organizational skills
  • Solid creative & digital skills, including Canva, Mailchimp, and standard marketing tools
  • Ability to work under pressure and to meet tight and competing deadlines 
  • Team spirit and ability to work in a cross-functional environment
  • Pro-active & autonomous – solution-oriented
  • Native German speaker, with business fluency in English; French is a strong asset.
