Job description

Education Perfect is searching for contract-based Mathematics Educational Content Editors who will be responsible for transforming and adapting content to be engaging online lessons that will be hosted on the Education Perfect (EP) learning platform. 

We are looking for Ontario Certified Teachers to support the development of high-quality content for our online Ontario Mathematics offering. In this contract-based role, you will have the opportunity to build multiple lessons that address specific parts of the Mathematics curriculum at the grade 6-10 level. Lesson scripts will cover a depth of knowledge and align with curriculum expectations.

This opportunity might suit you if: 

  • You have at least three years of experience teaching one or more specific grades (6-10) for the current Ontario Mathematics curriculum; 
  • You can commit to a minimum of 15-30 hours a week from late-May to early-August;
  • You are experienced in and enjoy making teaching resources;
  • You are tech-savvy and enjoy working with technology;
  • You are proficient with the use of online tools for visualizing mathematics.

Educational Content Editor Key Responsibilities:

  • Editing/transforming Ontario curriculum-aligned content from a script to the EP platform;
  • Communicating with a cross-functional team to edit content and publish on our platform;
  • Meeting quality and effectiveness targets in all tasks;
  • Managing your project tasks and time via online tools and software.

Employment will be contract-based and payment will be made per lesson edited/published. You'll enjoy highly flexible working hours and the ability to work remotely. You'll also benefit from ongoing support from our fantastic EP Content team.
