Job description

Cosy Hauz A Ltd. is seeking a knowledgeable and experienced Planning Consultant to join our team in a remote capacity. This role is essential in navigating the complexities of the UK planning system and providing strategic advice to our clients on urban planning projects.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct comprehensive planning appraisals and assessments for various development projects, ensuring compliance with UK planning regulations and policies.
Prepare detailed reports, planning submissions, and documents for planning applications.
Engage with clients, stakeholders, and local authorities to facilitate smooth communication and support throughout the planning process.
Provide expert advice on planning strategies, site selection, and project feasibility assessments.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of planning legislation, policies, and best practices.
Assist in the preparation of planning applications, including the development of supporting documentation.
Contribute to project management activities and collaborate with the Planning & Acquisition Team.

Qualifications & Skills:

A degree in Planning, Urban Studies, Environmental Science, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in a planning consultancy role or local authority.
Strong knowledge of UK planning policies and procedures.
Excellent analytical, research, and report-writing skills.
Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, with experience in client engagement.
Proficient in using planning software and tools, with working knowledge of GIS applications as an advantage.

Requirements

Minimum Qualifications:
