Job description

This is a remote position.

We are seeking a dependable, organised, and proactive Executive Assistant to support the CEO of a growing USA-based consulting firm in the tech industry. This role suits someone comfortable in a fast-paced environment who enjoys working with technology and is curious about innovation and entrepreneurship. The successful candidate will help the CEO use their time effectively by managing key administrative tasks and ensuring smooth communication.

Key Responsibilities

  • Calendar & Scheduling: Manage the CEO’s calendar and arrange meetings across different time zones.
  • Email & Communication: Help manage the CEO’s inbox by drafting and responding to emails.
  • Travel Planning: Arrange local and international travel, including flights, accommodation, and visas.
  • Meeting Support: Prepare agendas, documents, and presentations; take and share clear meeting notes.
  • Project Assistance: Help track tasks and deadlines for key projects.
    Document Handling: Safely organise and store important files and documents.

  • Task Follow-up: Keep track of action items and ensure they are completed on time.
  • Liaising: Communicating with internal teams and external contacts on behalf of the CEO.
  • Confidentiality: Handle private and sensitive information with care and professionalism.
  • Process Improvement: Suggest ways to improve admin systems and work processes.


Requirements

Required Qualifications and Experience

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Communications, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years in an Executive Assistant or senior administrative support role.
  • Working Hours: Eastern Time (EST, UTC-5): 4:00 PM – 12:00 AM SAST 
  • Prior experience working remotely and across international time zones is an advantage.
  • Excellent proficiency in Google Workspace and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Familiarity with productivity and communication tools is advantageous.
  • Experience working in or supporting leaders in the tech or consulting sectors is a plus.

Salary:

R20 000 - R25 000 per month
