We have an exciting new opportunity for an experienced sales professional to take full ownership of our independent and key accounts in Austria.

Reporting directly into the Country Manager DACH, you’ll focus on maximising all sales opportunities within the existing book of accounts as well as identifying new target retailers. You will work with your Country Manager to develop and execute the company strategy for your region.

This role will be based in Austria, with an initial training period at our London Headquarters, White City.

You'll be;

  • Developing and executing the territory growth strategy with support and guidance of the Country Manager
  • Forecasting seasonal product/revenue for your territory
  • Presenting new ranges to your accounts
  • Ensuring regular visits/communication with all retailers/buyers
  • Working alongside the customer service team to ensure all enquiries/orders/deliveries are managed to a satisfactory standard
  • Identifying business opportunities and grow the region using a strategic approach
  • Attending in-country tradeshow’s
  • Supporting in-country seasonal launch conference
  • Applying commercial awareness to make ‘brand-appropriate’ decisions
  • Attending and presenting weekly updates on key meetings, opportunities and territory growth
  • Ensure we are in all the right points of distribution that align with the brand luxury and premium positioning

You'll have;

  • Previous sales experience, managing a portfolio of accounts
  • Track record of commercial growth
  • Experience working within Luxury/Premium Gifting Industry
  • High accuracy, reliability and attention to detail
  • A personable and positive approach, you’re accustomed to maximising sales through professional relationships, whilst understanding business limitations
  • Understanding of ‘Jellycat’ tone and communication style associated with our brand
  • Confidence in making commercial decisions, happy to take direction from more senior team members when needed
  • Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint
  • Ability to work cross functionally, liaising with different areas of the business internally, focussed on clear and concise communication
  • Additional fluency in EU languages including English and German
