Director of Sales

We are searching for a Director of Sales to lead the overall sales strategy across the Merry Maids franchise system. In this role you will play a key part in driving revenue growth, supporting franchisees in achieving their sales goals, and ensuring sales objectives are aligned with the overall brand strategy.  You will have the opportunity to collaborate closely with marketing, operations, and training teams to provide impactful tools, insights, and support to the network.
 
 This is a high-impact role for a driven, strategic leader who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative, and franchise-focused environment.

What you will do:
  • Oversee revenue-driving efforts across the Merry Maids franchise system
  • Develop and refine sales tools, lead generation programs, and referral initiatives in partnership with the marketing team
  • Support franchisees at all stages of business development and performance
  • Travel as needed to support new market openings and underperforming locations
  • Lead weekly and monthly sales calls with franchisees and field teams
  • Host one-on-one coaching calls with franchise owners and local team members to identify and resolve sales challenges
  • Develop and deliver recurring training for location managers and location-level teams
  • Support franchisee onboarding and monthly training programs
  • Participate in monthly Discovery Days for prospective franchisees
  • Monitor and review mystery shop evaluations and provide coaching feedback
  • Assist franchisees in hiring and onboarding General Managers or Sales Leads
  • Facilitate regional and national sales training events
  • Train and coach, the network on proven sales techniques, scripts, and customer service best practices
  • Manage and optimize CRM tools to drive lead conversion and track performance metrics
  • Project manage new feature rollouts or enhancements to sales-related technology
  • Analyze and report on key performance indicators related to sales processes and conversion
  • Create and execute systemwide promotions, sales contests, and performance initiatives
  • Perform other sales support functions as needed
What you will bring:
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • 3+ years of experience in franchising
  • 5+ years of experience in multi-location sales leadership, preferably in franchise, consumer services, or home services
  • Demonstrated success in business development and presales leadership
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to drive execution and results
  • Self-starter with strong project management and multitasking skills
  • Effective communicator, comfortable presenting to executives, franchisees, and field staff
  • Strong stakeholder relationship management and interpersonal skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (especially Excel and PowerPoint)

Work Location: 

This role is 100% remote and can be based anywhere in the U.S., excluding Los Angeles County

Compensation Details:

The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. At ServiceMaster, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role, and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range offered starts at $100,000 plus incentive.
