The retention team plays a critical role in ensuring our Members keep their accounts in good standing so their insurance coverage and emergency road service assistance is available when needed. The Senior Member Success Associate focuses on saving at-risk accounts, reducing cancellations, collecting payments and enhancing relationships with our Members by using a variety of retention initiatives and techniques. When contacting current Members, the Senior Member Success Associate will identify specific product or service needs, explain the value proposition and answer questions to overcome objections, resulting in creating Members for life.

Essential Functions
• Makes contact through calling and sending emails to Members in an attempt to keep the products in good standing with AAA.
• Conducts a comprehensive policy and product review with clients to maximize the best value options while offering a range of suitable products.
• Effectively explains the value proposition and answers questions to overcome objections to close the sale and collect payments.
• Follows established protocols for working retention lists, at-risk and delinquent accounts, and making contact by set time frames.
• Identifies process improvement opportunities, proposes solutions, and implements best practices.

Knowledge and Skills
• Effective verbal and written communication skills in the language(s) required for the role, as justified for business necessity
• Strong sales, customer service, tracking, and follow-up skills
• Knowledge of software applications including word processing, spreadsheets, browsers, and email
• Knowledge of AAA products, services, and systems preferred
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced working environment
• Ability to accept feedback and course correct as necessary
• Bilingual communication skills preferred

Education and Experience
• Active Property & Casualty License or Personal Lines License.

• High school diploma or GED required
• Three yeas of sales, retention or customer service experience
• Acquires all unrestricted licenses required to sell Insurance and Membership products in all states serviced by the Member Service Center at the time of hire or added thereafter, required within 60 calendar days of (i) starting in the role, or (ii) expansion of the Member Service area

Pay Range: $22.77 - $28.46 hourly based on experience
