Job Details

Under general supervision of the assigned manager or other management-level position within the region, the ALLYDVM installation specialist is responsible for directing the workflow, motivates, trains and monitors the performance of associates involved in the customer implementation process. Responsible for ensuring accurate and timely deliveries with regard to installing, maintaining and troubleshooting customer-facing technology offerings by providing technical expertise, advise and support at customer sites and company locations.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

Monitors work processes and makes suggestions for modifications in order to increase and improve productivity, efficiency and accuracy for the purpose of improving costs; implements changes as directed or needed.

Provides work direction to Customer Implementation Specialist.

Maintains, analyzes, troubleshoots, and repairs computer-based systems.

Documents, maintains, upgrades or replaces customer software systems.

Assists customers with questions and problems; works on complex applications.

Installs software and troubleshoots software problems.

Interfaces with customer network resources to resolve software operation issues.

Independently conducts application training for associates and/or customers.

Resolves customer PC software problems.

Adheres to standards and procedures for project reporting, problem resolutions, and documentation.

Provides follow-up calls to customers when appropriate and uses good judgment to escalate problems as they arise.

Facilitates classroom training as needed.

Conducts product presentations and demos to current and potential customers as needed.

Manages customer product implementation projects.

Manages company expenses appropriately.

Must be willing to work extended hours, as needed, in order to meet objectives.

Performs related duties as assigned.

  • 1+ years of experience in tech, installation or troubleshooting
  • 3+ years of customer service experience

Minimum Skills, Knowledge, and Ability Requirements:

  • Knowledge of operating systems related to personal computer systems and peripherals, palm technologies, RF and wired networking technologies, telephone systems, network servers and internal wiring
  • Strong computer skills in order to effectively diagnose mixed environment systems conflicts
  • Advanced knowledge of Cencora's customer systems applications
  • Strong understanding of current technologies in area of expertise
  • Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing
  • Strong customer focus and ability to manage customer expectations
  • Excellent teamwork
  • Good interpersonal skills
  • Strong analytical skills; attention to detail
  • Self-discipline for performing quality work; self starter
  • Ability to prioritize work load and consistently meet deadlines; good time management skills
  • Ability to blend creativity, problem solving, and technical skills to sustain successful customer relationships

Ranges in Colorado/California/Washington/New York/Hawaii/Vermont/Minnesota/Massachusetts/Illinois State-specific locations may be up to 10% lower than the minimum salary range, and 12% higher than the maximum salary range.
