Role Purpose

We are seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead complex financial transformation projects across reconciliation, settlement, foreign exchange, and financial reporting domains. This is a strategic role that requires close collaboration with cross-functional stakeholders across Product, Finance, Engineering, and Operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the end-to-end delivery of financial transformation projects, ensuring alignment with business goals and regulatory standards.
  • Develop and manage detailed project plans and timelines, ensuring timely delivery and transparent communication of progress and risks.
  • Facilitate collaboration between internal teams across multiple geographies and time zones.
  • Partner closely with product managers to clarify scope, prioritize initiatives, and align delivery milestones.
  • Track and report project status to senior management and stakeholders with a high degree of accuracy and professionalism.
  • Identify and manage project dependencies and critical path items, proactively mitigating risks and resolving issues.
  • Champion best practices in project governance, documentation, and reporting

Key Skills, Experience and Competencies

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience managing complex projects, ideally in financial services, fintech, or enterprise SaaS environments.
  • Proven success delivering cross-functional projects involving financial systems (e.g., reconciliation, settlement, FX, and reporting tools).
  • Strong understanding of financial processes and terminology; previous experience in or with finance teams is a plus.
  • Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to engage audiences with different backgrounds.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, remote-first environment with distributed teams.
  • Proficiency with project management tools such as Jira and Confluence.
  • Fluent in English; additional languages (especially German) are a plus.
