Role Purpose

We are seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead complex financial transformation projects across reconciliation, settlement, foreign exchange, and financial reporting domains. This is a strategic role that requires close collaboration with cross-functional stakeholders across Product, Finance, Engineering, and Operations.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the end-to-end delivery of financial transformation projects, ensuring alignment with business goals and regulatory standards.
Develop and manage detailed project plans and timelines, ensuring timely delivery and transparent communication of progress and risks.
Facilitate collaboration between internal teams across multiple geographies and time zones.
Partner closely with product managers to clarify scope, prioritize initiatives, and align delivery milestones.
Track and report project status to senior management and stakeholders with a high degree of accuracy and professionalism.
Identify and manage project dependencies and critical path items, proactively mitigating risks and resolving issues.
Champion best practices in project governance, documentation, and reporting

Key Skills, Experience and Competencies

Minimum of 5 years of experience managing complex projects, ideally in financial services, fintech, or enterprise SaaS environments.
Proven success delivering cross-functional projects involving financial systems (e.g., reconciliation, settlement, FX, and reporting tools).
Strong understanding of financial processes and terminology; previous experience in or with finance teams is a plus.
Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to engage audiences with different backgrounds.
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, remote-first environment with distributed teams.
Proficiency with project management tools such as Jira and Confluence.
Fluent in English; additional languages (especially German) are a plus.
