Job Title: Contracts Specialist (Part-Time or Full Time)

 

Location: United Kingdom - Remote

Position Summary: We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Contract Specialist to support our Legal and Commercial Operations teams in managing the review, negotiation, and execution of contracts, including MSAs, NDAs, SOWs, and vendor agreements. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of legal and commercial terms, especially in the context of life sciences, biotech, or technology industries.

 

Key Responsibilities:

Contracts Review and Negotiation.

• Review and negotiate commercial agreements (mostly on company paper) including Product Supply Agreements, MSAs, NDAs, and SOWs.

• Coordinate with cross-functional teams (sales, procurement, legal, R&D) to gather input and align contract terms with business goals, internal policies and applicable laws/regulations.

• Maintain contract records and tracking systems; manage contract lifecycle from initiation to execution and renewal.

• Provide risk assessments and propose mitigation strategies for contract terms.

• Support contract templates’ development and process improvements for greater efficiency. Legal Administration & Operations.

• Support filing and recordkeeping of legal documents in compliance with internal policies.

• Assist in implementing legal department processes, tools, and systems to improve efficiency and compliance.

• Monitor key contract dates, deliverables, and obligations, and ensure timely follow-ups.

• Prepare contract summaries and reports for internal stakeholders.

• Support due diligence and compliance initiatives as required.

• Provide general administrative support to the legal team.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in business, Legal Studies, or related field (Paralegal certification or J.D. a plus).

• 2–3+ years of experience in contract administration, legal operations, or commercial contracting, preferably in a life sciences or technology environment.

• Experience with commercial contracts and legal terminology.

• Exceptional attention to detail, organizational, and communication skills.

• Proficiency in contract management software and Microsoft Office Suite.

• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.

• Proactive, resourceful, and able to work independently and as part of a team.

 

 

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in large scale capital equipment supply, biotech, or pharmaceutical companies.

• Understanding of intellectual property, confidentiality, and data privacy terms.

• Comfortable working in a dynamic, fast paced, and collaborative environment.
