Edgewater Technical Associates is seeking a qualified candidate for a Cost Estimator opportunity.
Work Location: Remote
Position Overview
Perform cost estimating for construction activities, including but not limited to concrete structure construction, electrical installation, and industrial construction.
Qualifications
5 to 20+ years of cost estimating experience for construction activities.
Proficiency in Micro-Computer Aided Cost Estimating System (MCACES) / MII cost estimating software.
Experience performing cost estimates for the USACE, especially projects over $250M.
Experience working with US Army Corps of Engineers (USACE).
Familiar with the USACE Hazardous, Toxic, and Radiological Waste (HTRW) work breakdown structure
Experience estimating construction activities such as electrical installation estimating, concrete structure construction, industrial construction, etc.
Experience in deconstruction and decommissioning estimating (desired, not required)
Since this work is dealing with radioactive waste, estimator knowledge in this area would be helpful, but is not required.
US citizen is required.
