The Professional Staff Compensation and Analytics Senior Analyst is responsible for creating, implementing and administering compensation and analytic programs. In this role, your work will help ensure competitiveness as well as gender and other demographic pay equality. Additional responsibilities include the maintenance, tracking and payments of physician contracts. 

A caregiver in this position works remotely (Ohio, Florida OR Nevada based) from 8:00AM - 5:00PM, with minimal travel requirements.

A caregiver who excels in this role will:  

  • Organize and track physician contracts for the Enterprise, including the development of detailed checklists for each individual physician contract, and complete reviews and validations to ensure all appropriate information is set within the contract. 
  • Calculate and pay Physician and Advanced Practice Provider bonuses on a quarterly, semi-annual basis and annual basis and administer all physician compensation for all Employed Physicians and Advanced Practice Providers.  Administers programs to mitigate any potential compliance exposure related to Stark, Anti-kickback, OIG, etc. 
  • Develop and implement strategies to minimize legal risk and ensure compliance with appropriate regulatory guidance. 
  • Continuously assess market practices, trends and regulatory environments related to compensation and benefit program design and delivery 
  • Maintain a current knowledge of trends and developments in the areas of OPSA, HR, Compensation and Benefits and ensure compliance with FLSA and other relevant regulations. 
  • Monitor physician performance to expectations as stated in the physician contract and create periodic performance reports for review by physician and administrative leadership. 
  • Prepare payroll, within contract terms, for all physicians on a bi-weekly basis and monthly journal entries to allocate payroll dollars to the correct entities.
  • Track physician timesheets and make payments based on tracked hours, and within contract terms, as necessary. 
  • Drive collaboration and teamwork among Center Leadership, Finance, OPSA, HR and the Chief of Staff office.  
  • Develop and implement strategies to ensure that compensation and staff analytics are aligned with the Strategic Agenda Management program and other institutional initiatives. 
  • Manage compensation for employed physicians across the Enterprise, with a primary focus incentive-based compensation.
  • Standardize comp models (e.g., salary, productivity incentive, shift pay, etc.) by analyzing factors such as regional team equity and national survey benchmark data.
  • Direct quarterly and ad hoc compensation reviews.

Minimum qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:  

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business (Finance) or related field 
  • Three years of experience in analytical, finance, accounting or compensation and financial management 
  • Working knowledge of Fair Market Value (FMV) assessment and analysis 

Preferred qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:  

  • Experience in incentive-based compensation for physicians
  • Master’s Degree
